Architecture of Dong Villages
Many would unfortunately never experience cultures of the Dong ethnic minority in person.
Our aim with this website is to raise awareness about the unique architectures existing in Dong villages.
During our teams journey to Zhaoxing village, we immersed ourselves in the architectural heritage of the Dong culture and its unique craftsmanship.
Through this experience, however, we also learned that many aspects of Dong culture are fading from public consciousness due to a lack of awareness among the broader community.
Cultural differences should not separate us from each other, but rather cultural diversity brings a collective strength that can benefit all of humanity.
